Bunker

That crumbling bunker resembles a German steel helmet,
deeply embedded into the mountainside.  Lush grass and wild trees
stand guard behind it.  Faced with questioning,
it stammers,
refusing to reveal all its secrets.  

 

Layer after layer of red, white, and yellow paint —
history is far too fond of whitewashing.  

 

So on the mountain path
we gaze again and again,
miss it again and again,  until the stones suddenly
shatter the prison of silence.

 

 

碉堡

那座残破的碉堡像是一顶德式钢盔，

深深嵌进山体。

草木葳蕤，

把它护在身后。

面对追问，

吞吞吐吐，

拒绝供述全部的秘密。

 

一道道红漆白漆黄漆，

历史太执着于粉刷。

 

于是，

山道上一次次凝视，

一次次错过，

直到石头猛然挣脱了声音的囚禁！
